Sun protection foil
The sun protection film is a thick, strong foil, treated with a protective coating. The foil has a variety of applications and can be used inside and outside the home. Applications include sun protection, radiation shield, radiator foil, and for boilers and water heaters.
For sun protection and window insulation, it can be hung like a curtain on the inside of a window. In this application, the film will reflect more than 95% of solar radiation to the outside, and in winter contain more than 95% of thermal radiation within a room.
For HR++ windows, it is recommended to hang the foil about 15cm from the window to prevent overheating of the window.
Attachment to the window frame can be done, for example, with tape or Velcro. An alternative is a roller blind, in which the blind is replaced with this foil.
